About me
I am a designer, teacher and entrepreneur from Peru based in Denmark. I have 6+ years experience in visual design, having directed 3 original IP animated projects, illustrated more than a dozen picturebooks and worked with clients from Peru, USA, Australia and Canada in graphic and audiovisual projects in the culture, education and health sectors.
I got introduced to the world of UX through working on projects related to the revitalisation of indigenous languages. I am currently working as a UX designer for clients in a creative agency called Frankly, in Copenhagen. I seek projects that create an impact and help solve problems in unique and creative ways, where design can add value to the user experience and I can keep on learning and collaborating with others.
I am also a big Studio Ghibli and Harry Potter fan, an obsessive stationery collector and a happy globe-trotter. I love colour, playing the piano, eating popcorn and laughing until my stomach hurts.
My other work
Illustration and visual design
I have worked in branding, graphic design and illustration for clients and personal projects for the past 7 years. Colour, shapes, fonts and layout are my passion and I love to engage in projects where I can push my design skills to new horizons.
Animation and motion graphics
I am a 2D animation by training (cutout, frame-by-frame traditional and digital animation). I directed 3 animated projects through my studio MJ Campos. I lead teams of several animators and artists who worked with me to bring our ideas to life. I have mainly assumed the roles of director, producer, art director, motion graphics animator, colour artist, post-producer and editor.
